Naveen is the founder of InMobi, which is a platform that enables consumers to discover products through mobile advertising. The India-based mobile advertising network has raised over $220 million in funding to date and has an estimated valuation of $2.5 billion. Naveen’s goals are not modest – he aims to make InMobi one of the largest tech companies in the world over the next five to ten years.
Naveen believes that startups will be the pillars of India and has been involved in scaling around 30 startups in the region. He has personally invested and supported several startups such as NestAway, SlideRule, Mettl, Moneysights, Bombay Canteen, and Razorpay. Moreover, he has co-founded iSPIRT, which is a ‘change agent with the brain of a think tank’ and aims to address government policy, create market catalysts, and grow the maturity of product entrepreneurs in order to transform India into a hub for new generation software products.
Naveen has received several awards for his work, the latest of which was the ‘Future Leaders Award’ presented by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in 2015, Fortune’s ‘40 under 40’ most powerful, influential and important people in business in 2015 and The ‘Pathbreaker of the Year’ Award in 2014.
Tony Conrad is Co-Founder of about.me and Sphere. About.me enables people to create their own individual webpages, and Sphere provides online publishers the tools and ingredients to engage their readers and maximize the interactivity and earning potential of their properties. Both companies were acquired by AOL, but about.me was bought back by the founding team in 2013 and today, Conrad serves as its CEO.
In addition to being a serial entrepreneur, Conrad is a venture capitalist. He is a partner at True Ventures, a VC firm that focuses on supporting the earliest stage founders and their teams. Their portfolio includes companies such as WordPress, MakerBot, Blue Bottle Coffee, Connectifier, Glowforge, Hodinkee, High Fidelity, Typekit, and GrowthHackers. Personally, Conrad has invested in WordPress, Slack, Lowercase Capital, Ne Timeas, and Samovar and August.
Des Traynor is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Intercom, which is a customer communication platform founded in 2011. Intercom is a new way for internet businesses to communicate with customers personally. The fast-growing company has over 10,000 customers in over 90 countries. In April, Intercom announced that it had raised an additional $50 million, bringing its total funding to $116 million.
Last year, Intercom also doubled the amount of employees and quadrupled its revenues to tens of millions of dollars. Des’s role in Intercom covers many areas, including product strategy, content marketing, customer support, and customer education. Des is also Co-Founder of Exceptional, which is now a part of Rackspace, and has been a UX designer for web applications.
