Let’s take a more detailed look at some of the speakers that are coming to Slush to discuss tech and the future of the industry:
Dennis Kooker, Global Head of Digital and US sales at Sony Music, is the one who calls the shots for the whole digital strategy at one of the world’s largest labels. Dennis is an industry heavyweight with deep insight to the music industry, and whatever he says is probably going to happen sometime in the near future.
Denis Ladegaillerie, the founder and CEO of Believe Digital, is building services that could enable totally new pathways of growth for the music industry by allowing more than just the major labels to distribute content. Prior to creating Believe Digital, Denis served as a Chief Financial Officer of Viveni Universal Net USA Group, a portfolio of new media businesses in the United States, including MP3.com, eMusic and Rollingstone.com.
Jenny Hermanson, Managing Director of the Nordics at Spotify and Gerrit Schumann, Vice President of Europe at Deezer are both conquering the stage during the future of music business session. Jenny has worked in various business areas within Spotify, from AdSales to Business Operations, before taking on her current role. Gerrit joined Deezer in 2013 from a music sharing background. Deezer and Spotify on the same stage will be interesting no matter what they talk about.
Soundtrack Your Brand is a Spotify joint venture and the exclusive provider of Spotify Business and Spotify Enterprise. Founder and Chairman, Andreas Liffgarden is the former Global Head of Telecom Business Development at Spotify. Andreas could very well be the one creating the next music unicorn after Spotify.
