The two companies have a shared vision, as Taizo Son capsulizes: “Kaidi is constructing a revolutionary startup support system. These days, startups struggle with fundraising. Thanks to Funderbeam’s blockchain-based stock marketplace, startups can overcome.”
This partnership and investment round was just the push the company needed: “Recently we’ve been looking to expand into the Asian Pacific, and globalise our activities. The investment gives us the momentum and confidence to do that.”
Kaidi further mentions the vital role that the more experienced investors will play in their future plans: “The people at Mistletoe will provide much more than financial support. They offer mentorship, guidance, and connections. With their help, we’ll enable entrepreneurs to expand their horizons and gain global funding.”
Funderbeam is a primary and secondary market for early-stage startup investments providing easy delivery and access of growth capital by using advanced blockchain technology. In turn, Mistletoe, Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, is a venture capital firm specializing in startup investment, providing learning opportunities for entrepreneurs.
