Preethi Kasireddy, Founder and CEO of TruStory
Preethi recently launched her new startup, TruStory. It’s a platform aiming to separate the wheat from the chaff in the field of ICOs. The company offers an opportunity for its users to validate claims people make online: whether it’s a white paper or a social media blog post, the company will ensure the authenticity of claims made in the era of digitalized and decentralized economy. Preethi, previously a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a banker at Goldman Sachs, and most recently a software engineer at Coinbase, has already won the trust of many notable investors, including Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam and former Twitter M&A executive Jessica Verrilli.
Preethi is an avid learner who taught herself how to code, and is passionate about educating the world about blockchain and cryptocurrencies. She’s the author of several well-regarded posts, including How does Ethereum work anyway? and Fundamental Challenges with Public Blockchains.
Maximilian Tayenthal, Founder & CFO of N26
Maximilian has founded N26, one of Europe’s biggest and most promising fintech startups, together with Valentin Stalf . N26 is a direct bank based in Berlin, offering mobile banking services that customers can access through their smartphones. They recently raised $160 million in series C round by Allianz X and Tencent holdings. The round brought the total funds raised by N26 to $215 million. The German fintech company, being backed by the likes of Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel and Li Ka-shing, has addressed their intention to expand to the British and US markets this year.
Sonali De Rycker, Partner at Accel
Sonali is Partner at Accel, focusing on consumer, software and financial service businesses. At Accel, she has led investments in Avito (acquired by Naspers), Lyst, Spotify, Wallapop, KupiVIP, Calastone, Catawiki, JobToday, Shift Technology, SilverRail (acquired by Expedia), Kry and Soldo. Prior to Accel, Sonali was with Atlas Ventures. Having led Accel’s investment in Kry, Sonali in particular has a lot of valuable knowledge on healthtech and how it can be applied to find viable solutions to some of the greatest challenges of the industry. Addition to all of this, Sonali is one of the few European VCs ever to get named by Forbes as one of the top investors in the world on their annual Midas List.
Sonali grew up in Mumbai and has graduated from Bryn Mawr College and Harvard School of Business.
