Since the first Slush Small Talks event was held in London, the idea behind the concept has been to organize smaller, more intimate gatherings for startups and top tech talent to meet with top-tier international investors, executives, and community veterans who share their passion for further empowerment of the local startup ecosystem.
Old industries, new tricks: our idea of the best way forward
The 2018 edition of Slush Small Talks Stockholm will address startup-corporate collaborations in the field of industrial technology. It is crucial for the survival of the industry to stay on the top of the wave of digitalization in order to ensure its survival and global success. Thus, we’re here to help!
With many challenges along the way for industry players, new kinds of startup-corporate collaboration open up the doors for new opportunities for all involved. Using new technologies and applying fresh, enthusiastic mindsets of smaller scale, new ventures can be the key of success for the corporates. Moreover, the startups get a huge competitive advantage, with a bigger customer network, access to more capital and other necessary resources needed for growth and achievement. We believe that startup-corporate collaboration truly is the business model of the future for the field of industry.
How it’s gonna go down…
The focus at Small Talks Stockholm is going to be entirely on showcasing best practices for how startup-corporate collaboration in the field of industrial tech is done, as well as discussions on how different parts of the local tech community can participate and develop a collaborative environment.
Together with the partners of the event, Combient, PwC, Northzone, and EQT Ventures, as well as the Nordic community representing founders, corporates, and investors, are going to take the stage to share their success stories and experiences on how the best startup-corporate collaborations work.
