KRY is in the business of digital healthcare services. Their product allows people to see a doctor or psychologist via on-demand video consultations. Currently, their service is available in Sweden, Norway, and Spain. Altogether, they have held more than 350,000 patient meetings during their year-long-existence. According to KRY, they’re giving the power of access to healthcare into the hands of their patients and challenging the status quo of healthcare provision.
Johannes is the CEO and co-founder of KRY. Upon announcing his arrival, we had a chance to ask him a few questions about KRY and what’s on the way for the rest of the year.
“Even if the quality of care is high in Sweden, healthcare here faces the same challenges as in all European countries with increasing costs, unequal access and a lack of patient focus. What KRY has done is to make healthcare available when you need it, no matter where you live, on your terms. We are open from 6 am to midnight and our average waiting time is 15 minutes. That is a huge improvement in any society.”
“We are just at the beginning of a huge paradigm shift in healthcare. Through digitalization, healthcare will become abundant, instant, proactive and patient-focused. And KRY will drive that change. In 10 years KRY will be the leading healthcare provider in Europe. But not only that, we will take full care of your health. We will help you stay healthy, keep you informed about your health and give you the best patient experience when you need treatment.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of interesting people and discuss the future of healthcare with them!”
